Aliens ~ 1986

Seven years after Ridley Scott brought us a whole new genre of action heroes with Ellen Ripley, James Cameron brought the Alien franchise to a whole new level by giving us true characterisations. Cameron brought each character to reality in this “almost as good as the original” sequel. Michael Biehn as Cpl. Dwayne Hicks was by far my favorite. Maybe it was because I always found him so hot. Even a younger Bill Paxton as Private Hudson was good.

After watching now, 21 years later, some of the acting was a bit over the top, but hey this is a horror, thriller flick right? Regardless, this film was a great sequel, and almost better than the original. A
